“So my mom was always looking for something different and fun for us to try out. That’s how we discovered it. The sport had no rules, and that kept us in it. No one was telling us what to do. From 7 to 14 years old I had epilepsy, so being differnent from everyone else I felt at home. That’s something my parent drilled into me every day … that it’s OK to be different. “
